THAT. IS. NUTS. I LOVE IT. It's going to be even weirder than most people think. Shows aren't being made right now, which is pushing back production cycles to the point w for those futures and future shows where they're going to start double/triple booking with future shows. Production crew workers who bounce between shows are also going to be tied up with different shows as well. So the soundstages are going to get being run on non-stop and there's going to be some huge time crunches. That's also not including the animation world where cartoons and anime are also being shut down for the time being and their computers and hardware are also limited. The anime industry also just came off that terrible terrorist attack on Kyoto Animation, and they were still trying to recover from losing some of their top people and a lot of people with their own injuries and mental health issues. It's going to take 18 months? at best to get show production schedules back on track.

Posted on Tuesday, June 4th, 2019 by Now that Robert Pattinson is officially the new Dark Knight, some details about the film – including how Pattinson landed the gig – are starting to step out of the shadows. According to insiders, only two possible actors were ever considered for the role – Pattinson and Nicholas Hoult. Learn how director Matt Reeves decided on Pattinson, and what The Batman plot involves, below. Hoult vs. Pattinson: Dawn of Justice THR has a behind-the-scenes look at how The Batman ended up with Robert Pattinson as its Caped Crusader, and the piece confirms that the only two actors who were truly considered for the part were Pattinson and Nichols Hoult. Back in March, director Matt Reeves’s alleged shortlist for the part popped-up, and included names like Jack Reynor, Alexander Ludwig, Jack O’Connell, Aaron Taylor-Johnson. But THR stresses that “the two actors [Pattinson and Hoult] in short order became the only contenders. ” There’s always a chance actors like Taylor-Johnson and Reynor were mentioned at some point, but it sounds as if they were never seriously considered. While Hoult is said to have impressed Reeves, the filmmaker seemed especially interested in Pattinson: Reeves is said to have spent hours poring over the two actors’ work and met with them in April. Pattinson has far more name recognition than Hoult, but it was his work in Good Time and High Life, among others, that Reeves kept on coming back to. Reeves also is said to have written the part with Pattinson in mind: Reeves is said to have considered Pattinson, 33, early on in the process, says one source, even though no outreach was made. Reeves didn’t even know if the actor wanted the part. During the week of May 20, Pattinson and Hoult both shot screen tests wearing a Batman suit from a previous Bat-film, and after some brief deliberation, Pattinson ultimately won the role. Not An Origin Story With all this talk about Reeves wanting a younger actor to play his Batman, rumors abounded that we were getting yet another origin story. But that’s apparently not the case. In The Batman, Bruce Wayne/Batman is “around 30 years old”, but “the story is neither another rehashing of his origin nor the tale of a seasoned crimefighter ruling Gotham City. He is Bruce Wayne still trying to find his footing on his way to becoming the genius detective. ” This sounds a bit similar to the comic Batman: Year One – a story that was also mined for Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins. It’ll be interesting to see how Reeves handles this. We really do not need yet another origin story – please, for the love of Bill Finger, don’t show the Waynes getting shot in Crime Alley yet again; we get it. I’m assuming the film will open with Bruce Wayne already patrolling Gotham in his cape and cowl, but still learning the ropes of the job. That could make for an interesting scenario, as we haven’t quite seen that on the big screen before. In Tim Burton’s Batman, Batman was already pretty well established in Gotham. Batman Begins took almost a full hour before Bruce Wayne even suited up, and by The Dark Knight, he was already a bit of a legend. Reeves’s The Batman looks to be aiming for something in between. The dark knight returns batman is a straight up badass. I've been seeing this huge wave of anger from fans this past few weeks, about how Robert Pattinson isn't big enough and how he should look like Ben Affleck by now but he doesn't. Not to mention, the cliched "Batman is supposed to be at his peak human form at all times". It was a necessity for Ben Affleck to get huge, because he was adapting the Frank Miller Batman. A Batman that needs to look like a wrestler/brawler at the end of his career. Batfleck was going up against Superman, Parademons, Doomsday, Steppenwolf and who knows what other creatures/aliens. The vision and the storyline planned for Ben Affleck DEMANDED that physique. Ever since then, I've seen this rising argument that all Batmen need to look like Ben Affleck - and it's so stupid. First of all, why? Just because comicbook writers went ham while drawing the character and greatly exaggerate Batman's physique - doesn't mean every actor who gets cast, needs to pump steroids and lift weights for 6 months. Batman didn't look like a tank until Ben Affleck was cast. Keaton / Kilmer / Clooney / West and even Bale in 2/3rd of the Batman Trilogy was lean but ripped. So to mount these impossible and unnecessary expectations onto Robert Pattinson to lift weights and gain 40 pounds because "Batman is supposed to be at his peak human form" is ridiculous. Now, if Matt Reeves and WB ever wanted Robert Pattinson to get as big as Christian Bale in Batman Begins or even get close to Affleck in BvS - they'd have forced him to do so. He was cast 9 months before they began shooting, and I'm sure WB would've convinced Chris Nolan to let Pattinson lift weights and build a foundation that he could carry on after he was done with TENET. But that isn't the case. And now that we've seen the suit in it's entirety - we know that Matt Reeves NEVER intended his Batman to be huge. Robert Pattinson is playing a detective Batman in the vain of Sherlock Holmes. Even a recent rumor suggested that Pattinson's Batman is like Sherlock Holmes to Jeffrey Wright's John Watson in The Batman - and that is so fitting. Can you imagine if Sherlock Holmes was a 250 pound brawler lurking around the streets of London, chasing cabs? Just like that, how can you expect a detective Batman to look huge. He needs to look lean. The action sequences - this is the only reason this weight misconception even exists. Ever since Batman fans had a glimpse of the Warehouse Fight Sequence from BvS - they've this misconception that the only way to get a great Batman fight scene is to get a ripped actor - it doesn't even make sense. Anyone who has any insight on how action sequences work, knows that actor's physique has NOTHING to do with the quality of the action sequence. Action in films completely relies on the Fight Choreographers / Stuntmen / Director & the cinematography. John Wick, The Raid, Netflix's Daredevil - all these are proof that you don't need anything more than a good choreographer & a director that knows what he's doing - to get a great fight sequence. So if your reasoning for Pattinson to get huge is the fight sequences, you don't have to worry one bit. The suit - I'd understand the weight concern if Pattinson was wearing a gray body-suit like Ben Affleck wore in BvS or Zachary Levi in Shazam. But that's not the case, Pattinson's suit is armored up. It's covered with plates all around, so if you're scared of Pattinson not having abs - it doesn't matter, you won't see them even if he had them. Have Batman films ever been judged over the physicality of the Batman? Why is The Dark Knight up there as the BEST Batman live-action film ever made? Is it because Bale is huge? Or is it because it's masterfully written with great direction / acting / score & cinematography? I'm pretty sure it's the latter. Robert Pattinson's weight is the last thing you'll judge when you see The Batman - so what's the point in body-shaming him? Your main concern should be the director and the performances all across the board. It's always going to be substance over aesthatics. A director can make a film look beautiful and it's actors like beef cakes but if it's missing everything else - no one's going to look at it again just because it looked cool. It all comes down to Robert Pattinson's acting and Matt Reeves' direction - and fortunately, Robert Pattinson is one of the best actors working today and Matt Reeves is one of the best genre-directors working today. It's not about the physique, it's not about how the Batmobile looks and it's certainly not about the Batsuit. All these things, are variable and will work in the setting of the film - but if it's just a poorly directed / written film - then even a 250 pound Batman can't salvage it. So please, simmer down on the body-shaming and how Pattinson isn't "dedicated" enough - he knows the risks, he's been part of a blockbuster tentpole franchise before and he knows the consequences if he messes it up. He's a great dedicated performer and he'll show up to the task when he needs to, just let the man take a breather and eat pasta in peace for now.

Level 1 I don’t hate it. But I don’t love it either. I have no doubt in my mind about Tobey being able to portray Dent, as the charming, confident, skilled, and positive DA. But I have a hard time picturing him as Two-Face. level 2 I disagree. He did a complete 180 when he got the symbiote suit in Spider-Man 3. He got the emo hairstyle and black tux! Even became a complete dick afterwards... blocking the entrances while thrusting his hips at random women. That's the Two-Face I want. LMAO level 2 Have you seen Brothers? Tobey plays a presumed dead soldier returning home with PTSD. There's a few scenes where he goes off the hinges and it's totally Two-Face material. Bonus is Jake Gyllenhaal plays his brother. One of the best ever DC movies (And definitely the best joker. Amazing job 👍🏼 especially with the countdown. Man, after watching Lt. Lickme's new Joker video and seeing how freaking incredible that was, I just couldn't help but want to come back and watch this. I believe Robert will be a great actor as Bruce known as Batman. 💯❤️. Batman and superman are practically brothers. their moms share the same name, their dads managed to accomplish the others missions and if they have no more villains to fight together they will happily beat the crap out of each other.
Watched this movie once, and had to rewatch it again so i could see heath ledgers jaw-dropping performance again. decided to buy it just so i could watch it whenever i wanted. great purchase.
